In a conflict, keeping quiet does help compared to saying the wrong things driven by emotions.
But it's not the way out. Being assertive is.
So I need to learn what to say in a conflict, and most importantly, to know what can be said to avoid conflict from occuring in the first place.
People always want to say things to make themselves feel better, and in some people, to feel superior and to have the "feel good" feeling.
But if everyone is going to be talking, who is going to listen?
For my case, I opt for peace. But there should always be an optimum level.
Not to be suppressed by others so much so that I feel miserable or sorry for myself.
I am glad that I don't really feel bad for myself as often as I did before.
It's a good start, to be honest.
Happy New Year.
It's a new year. Brand new year. And Time for new year resolution.
This time, keep it realistic.
Should be something that you know you need to do it eventually, not just want to do it.
Oh wells. life's good. ;)
